DESCRIPTION:Come walk with us in the Veterans Day Parade this year! \nTo join\, simply complete the volunteer form and select the “Participate in the Veterans Day Parade” option. \nPARADE DETAILS sent from the City of Jax Office of Sports & Entertainment  \nWomen Veterans Ignited Lineup is at Row G – 2. \n\nRow G\n\n2nd position\nPOC: Sharleen (904) 201-9762 \n\n\n\nThe parade route is approximately 1.11 miles\, beginning at The Jacksonville Center for Performing Arts on Water St. and ending at Lot X on Gator Bowl Blvd. \nSchedule of Events: \n\n8:00 am\n\nParticipant arrival begins\n\n\n9:45 am\n\nAll participants must be in line-up position \n\n\n11:01 am\n\nParade begins\n\n\n2:00 pm\n\nParade ends (approximate)\n\n\nParade Line-Up Location\n\nPrime F. Osborn III Convention Center\n1130 W Bay St.\, Jacksonville\, FL 32204\nAccess line-up area via the Convention Center parking lot entrance at the far end of West Bay St\n\n\n\nStandard Vehicle Parking \n\nFree participant parking is available at Lot Z – 517 Palmetto St.\nA free shuttle will transport participants to the parade line-up location from this parking lot\nTailgating is not permitted in the participant parking lot\n\nOnsite Assistance \n\nIf you need help\, find one of the Office of Sports & Entertainment staff members wearing a red City of Jacksonville Polo\n\nPlease be sure to plan ahead for travel\, traffic\, parking\, and finding our lineup spot as you won’t be allowed to enter the parade area after 9:45 am unless you arrive on the shuttle. \n  \n  \n     \n

Parking is free. \nDirections & Important Event Update – Please Read\nThis year\, entry procedures at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena have changed due to updated security protocols. \nAll guests must now enter through the Duval Street entrance\, where security screening will take place (including wand checks if necessary). In the past\, guests entered directly through the Duval Room entrance across from Lot Z\, but that is no longer permitted. \nFor your convenience\, please park in Lot Z\, which is the closest lot to the designated entrance. Do not park at the front of the arena\, as it will require a much longer walk.
