Women Veterans Ignited is honored to be one of the nonprofit organizations selected to receive proceeds from the 2026 Flags for Heroes fundraiser, presented by the Rotary Club of Orange Park Sunrise.
Flags for Heroes is a moving community tribute that commemorates the lives lost on September 11, 2001, while recognizing the everyday heroes who have made a difference in our lives. Hundreds of American flags will be displayed at the Orange Park Mall, each representing a hero sponsored by individuals, families, and businesses.
Heroes may include military service members and veterans, first responders, law enforcement officers, healthcare professionals, teachers, community leaders, or someone who has made a lasting impact on your life. The Flags for Heroes Ceremony will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Orange Park Mall.
